Your mission when you play Chicken Invaders 5 is to protect Earth from alien chickens.

The graphics of the game are improved over the previous versions. You'll find that the colors and the designs of the spaceship and the chickens are extraordinary for a software game. While playing the game you're in control of a spaceship. The concept is easy. All you have to do is shoot the alien chickens that are trying to take over the world.

Even though it's a shooting game it has a cartoon aspect. There are parts of the game where the action can get intense as there are sometimes up to 200 chickens on the screen at one time. This is when it's sometimes hard to defend yourself since there are so many. However, some of them seem like they are just sitting there on the screen, waiting to be shot down.

There are 12 star systems that you can explore, reaching a new level each time you shoot down a certain number of chickens in the game. If you don't think that you can defeat the chickens alone, then you're in luck. You can play in a co-operational mode with up to three other people who are online. It could be your friends from social media or others who are playing the game who you don't even know. This is a big help when you're faced with dozens of chickens at once instead of just a few on the screen. If you get a bit trigger happy, then this is a game that you'll enjoy. It can be a bit repetitive, but the graphics make up for the same images that are on the screen through each level.
